This was Rove’s take on Obama to Republicans at the Capitol Hill Club Monday, according to Christianne Klein of ABC News:
“Even if you never met him, you know this guy. He’s the guy at the
country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette
that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone
who passes by.”

Actually, I don’t know anybody at the country club. I don’t know any Black country club members either. I knew some kids who were in the Country Club when I was a kid. They were the enemy. For sure, none of them were Black.

don’t think W would be hanging out against the wall making snide comments – he’d be in the middle of the party, drinking whiskey (not a martini), and with the lampshade on his head, leading everyone in singing bawdy songs. . .
