Great News

Great news from Iowa: the most electable of Democrats won the first primary. Nearly six months ago we saw Obama speak, and his advance man said that he was fully competitive with any candidate among voters who heard him speak. Point proven.

Plus, the most electable of Republicans, John McCain, says it would be "fine with him" if we maintained a presence in Iraq for 100 years. He qualified the statement, but for most Americans, that’s a terrible idea. They won’t like to hear it. More bad news for a party that is falling apart.

But the really good news is simpler — sort of. Winter is here, and rain is on the way. Take a look.
