Actually, this particular science fiction about reactionaries has already been written. This is straight out of Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaiden’s Tale.”

Oh, do. It’s Atwood’s best and most resonant book, and just when it feels like an antiquated vision, current events bring it right back to the forefront.
